John MacInnes Student Ice Arena
The John MacInnes Student Ice Arena is home to Michigan Tech's NCAA Division I hockey team. Seating 4,200 visitors and including 14 rentable luxury suites/skyboxes, the arena was voted the second-best hockey arena experience in Michigan in 2012 by Stadium Journey magazine. In addition to varsity hockey, the arena hosts kinesiology and integrative physiology classes, intramural hockey, recreational skating, youth and adult hockey, figure skating programs, private rentals and special events.

The A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum, situated on campus, is the official mineral museum of the state of Michigan. It is the largest mineral collection of the Great Lakes region on public display and is considered one of North America’s great mineral museums.
